Ombretta Agricola 'Mosso' NV
A lively Con Fondo style sparkling wine that spends about 3 weeks macerating in old barrels before being fermented in stainless steel. Then, with the use of dried grape must from the harvest, refermented in the bottle. Unfiltered and unfined with nothing else added.
On the nose its opens up with yeasty, bready aromas before mellowing out to tropical fruits which are carried through on the palette. The Con Fondo style of winemaking produces frothy, silky bubbles. ***
