Domaine de la Bohème (Patrick Bouju) 'G&M' 2019
Really excited to have a (very) small amount of the wines by Patrick Bouju and Justine Loiseau on the shelves. The grapes they farm organically are Gamay D'Auvergne, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and some other local varieties. Old vine domaine cuvées being supplemented with organic grapes acquired from trusted friends all over France.
With G&M, whole bunch (skins, stems and all) of Muscadet, Grenache Gris, Riesling and Auxerrois undergo fermentation with a two week maceration in clay amphora before being aged in amphora.
Tropical fruits, peach and orange on the palette with a crisp acidity. Fantastically textured with aromatics that will keep you sticking your nose back into the glass.
As with any skin contact wine we suggest allowing it a little time to open up before drinking. Your patience will be rewarded.
